Hounds for Heroes quiz

The Holiday Inn Winchester is to host a fourth special charity fund-raising event for Hampshire-based charity Hounds for Heroes with their popular quiz event, which this year will be held to also celebrate St.George’s Day on Thursday 23rd April.

“We are inviting teams of six to ten people to register for this special event and have their knowledge on all things English tested,” said Sarah Waddington, Sales and Marketing Manager for the hotel.

“The hotel has been sponsoring Petersfield-based charity Hounds for Heroes for the last six years, providing free accommodation to injured service personnel and space for them to train with their new assistance dogs. The staff at the hotel just love hosting them and creating a real home from home for the veterans and of course making a fuss of the assistance dogs!”

“We are very proud to be able to help raise funds for this locally-based charity who every day make a difference to injured service personnel across the UK.”

Tickets cost £18 per person and include a “Best of British” fork buffet. Teams of 6-10 people are welcome. Call 01962 392893 option 4 or email events@hiwinchester.co.uk to book.
