Sign up for Soapbox Derby

Entries are now being accepted for this year’s Bordon Charity Soapbox Derby, which will take place on Sunday 23rd July.

Teams with their handmade soapbox carts will get a chance of two runs of the Chalet Hill downhill course in a bid for glory.

There is an extended track this year with five jumps, slalom and some tough scrutineering to ensure equal opportunity for all.

It is all for charity as Bordon Soapbox is raising funds for Help for Heroes – helping the Armed Forces community live well after service, as well as four local charities.

Sign up at www.bordonsoapbox.co.uk where you will get all the details for the Amateur Everyone Cart (build cost below £500) and the Pro Cart (build cost above £500).

There are also still plenty of opportunities for businesses to sponsor and organisers are especially on the look-out for more local traders to become involved – see bordonsoapbox.co.uk.
