Sleep out to help charity

Youth homeless charity Step by Step is inviting members of the public to give up the comfort of their beds for the night and sleep out under the stars. The event is to raise funds to support the charity and the hundreds of young people it helps each year.

Sleep Out 2022 takes place on Friday 7th October at Farnborough Business Park, when sleepers will get just a small taste of what many young people face each night.

Aldershot-based Step by Step prevents homelessness by offering young people aged 16-25 a safe place to live and the opportunity to learn life skills and address mental health challenges. Last year, the charity supported over 1,500 young people.

Previous Sleep Outs have seen up to 200 people attend to show their support for the charity’s transformative work.

Tickets are £10 for adults and £5 for children. They are available at www.stepbystep.org.uk/sleepout.
